Hardware Testing Methodology
1 What is Mouse Polling Rate?
Mouse polling rate dictates how frequently your device reports its position to the PC. Measured in Hertz (Hz), higher values like 1000Hz, 4000Hz, or 8000Hz mean the data is updated more often, reducing input lag. Our tester verifies if your hardware consistently maintains these peak rates under load.
2 How to optimize Click Speed (CPS)?
Clicks Per Second (CPS) measures raw actuation speed. Improving it requires both mechanical practice (butterfly, jitter clicking) and low-latency switch hardware. Optical switches and zero-debounce firmware minimize actuation delay, allowing more rapid successive clicks to register.
3 What is Keyboard Ghosting & NKRO?
Ghosting occurs when simultaneous key presses fail to register due to matrix limitations. N-Key Rollover (NKRO) ensures that no matter how many keys are pressed concurrently, every input is captured. Our diagnostic tool maps out your keyboard matrix to detect any hidden rollover limitations.
